Purchased at a grocery store, either in The Netherlands or Germany, even though the bottle mentions being imported to Great Britain. Bottle was made of plastic. Used as part of making a vegan bolognese sauce. | Home page for brand.
Tasting notes:
April - Smelled of alcohol, and not much else. Taste was better than expected. Pleasantly a bit sour, with a decent red-wine flavor, without being overwhelmed by bitterness or strength of alcohol.
Jeanette - Geruch: klassisch nach trockenem, einigermaßen schweren Rotwein. Leicht metallisch. Geschmack: überraschend gefällig . Nicht zu viel Säure, nur ganz leicht adstringierend. Schmeckt nach dunkler Traube mit einem Hauch von Holzfass.
