Tasting Notes
April - Limited smell. I had a hard time getting much of a smell when it was in the glass, though it was a bit more evident when first opening the bottle.
Taste was fairly astringent. Maybe a slight amount of bitterness, but nothing that lasted too long, nor did a whole lot at the back of the mouth.
All in all, I think it was fairly pleasant, as far as these things go. It was not watery, it had a fairly interesting flavor, didn't give me wine shivers or have a long bitter aftertaste.
The wine might be a mixture of merlot and cabernet sauvignon, judging from some things I looked up on the internet, but I'm not at all sure. I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me it had pinot noir in it.
Jeanette - Geruch: ein bisschen säuerlich, metallisch oder vielleicht schwefelig. Ein typischer Rotweingeruch. Geschmack: säuerlich trocken, fruchtig rund, der Wein schmeckt trotz der Säure vollmundig aber nicht zu kräftig. Ich denke, ich mag ihn, auch wenn die Säure ein bisschen zu prominenten ist.
