Quarantini Rosé Gin Back
Part of the Quarantini 2022 Advent Calendar. Both Jeanette and April purchased the calendar, would do a tasting, and then send tasting notes back and forth. There are also videos from Quarantini about each gin, and sometimes those were watched, though after doing the gin tasting so as to see how much we agreed or disagreed.
Tasting notes: April - perfumy, but not quite the same way as the previous days, and the taste was pretty different. Floral, maybe. No strong paint thinner flavor. Feels harder to describe.
Jeanette - tastes like less alcohol, and smells like some wine gummy. Smells good, but doesn't smell like alcohol, but also doesn't taste as sweet as it smells. Doesn't really taste like gin.
She also thinks this would be decent for long drinks.
Both of us found that it made sense that hibiscus was a main flavor ingredient, when we found out.
