Bottle front

Jeanette and April visited Jeanette's sister's place, and purchased this around there and tried it with dinner one night.

Tasting Notes April - Fruity, lightly sweet on the front of the tongue, and a little bit bitter on the back.

The overview of the Primitivo grape that I read said it was something like Zinfandel, and I think that's fairly accurate. (Edit: Later found out that Primitivo is the Italian name for the Zinfandel grape, so it's the same grape, not just similar.)

But it was quite good. Definitely would try more Primitivos based on this.

Though after eating it with General Tso's, the flavor was not good pretty much anywhere in the mouth. So I'm less sure about this one.

Purchased at a grocery store in Berlin, wine chosen by Jeanette, on January 2nd, 2023.
