This was a bonus tasting, not part of the official wine-tasting menu. If memory serves, we were told that they'd open up a bottle of a couple different off-menu wines, switching off which wine they chose. We were hoping to taste the Petit Verdot, but that wasn't the opened bottle the day of our tasting -- this was.
Our notes - April was not a fan, especially with the aftertaste - Megan meh. Good for goth party because you can't see through it. Ino says good.
Consumed while wine tasting on June 10th, 2019 along with Joanne and Rico.
Notes from tasting:
2017 Mohi Rosé - Central Coast - Megan eww, too sweet, bad - April enjoyed it. Kinda sparkling, enjoyable flavor. Kinda sweet.
2017 Mohi Viognier - central coast - April thinks it's an inoffensive white - Megan thinks it's too sweet
2016 Mohi Pinot Noir - central coast - Megan thought it was good. April kinda forgot it
2015 Zinfandel - central coast - bottled a month ago. April found it super spicy, but agrees it could be good eventually. Megan goes for "meh". Tastes like a pickle.
2014 Evolution - SCV - Megan says good. April enjoyed it, and it does seem like a smooth, enjoyable blend
2014 Cabernet Sauvignon - SCV - April thinks it's a good cab sauv, but doesn't particularly like cab sauv - Megan says, "good"
2012 Petit Sirah - central coast - April was not a fan, especially with the aftertaste - Megan meh. Good for goth party because you can't see through it. Ino says good
purchased, but did not try
