No 3 Gin - Hafen Spezerei
Jeanette purchased when we went to Hamburg. From a store in New Harbor part of the city, near the mini golf course. Tasted June 23rd 2023.
Tasting notes: April - Smells like juniper and paint thinner. Tastes like gin, and not too much paint thinner. It has _some_ strong flavor that I'm not quite placing. (After Jeanette looked it up, it sounds like it's agave, which would explain why it's not a flavor I like, too) But it's pleasant. I don't think it's what I want gin to taste like, but it's a pleasant gin, regardless.
Jeanette - Geruch: Wacholder und eine citrische Note - vielleicht Bergamotte? Geschmack: intensive Wacholdernote, scharfer Alkohol aber nicht zu unangenehm. Ich glaube es ist tatsächlich Bergamotte, eventuell Vanille und vielleicht Süßholz Aroma dabei. Der Gin ist sehr kräftig und vermutlich gut zum Mixen mit einem trockenen Tonic. Ich finde ihn lecker, pur allerdings etwas zu stark.
Mo - Herbal, sharp, deep taste with an underlying citrus flavor (but i’m drunk and childish so everything with alcohol tastes kind of fun)
