Part of the Quarantini 2022 Advent Calendar. Both Jeanette and April purchased the calendar, would do a tasting, and then send tasting notes back and forth. There are also videos from Quarantini about each gin, and sometimes those were watched, though after doing the gin tasting so as to see how much we agreed or disagreed.
Tasting notes: April - Day 8 - Mulberry has a pleasant purple color. Has the more pleasant perfume scent again, though perhaps not as strong.
Fizzy, maybe, and fruity. Not really paint thinner-y, so this one seems pretty positive. I like the flavor and feel of it, though it's still, as usual, not very Juniper Berry flavored.
Aftertaste isn't great, but overall I like this one - more than I expected for mulberry, too.
So, between 4 and 6 it goes, and I'm not sure on which side of the purchase line it'd go, so I guess I'll default to over.

Jeanette - Sweet perfume-like smell, not unpleasant. Berry fruity flavor with constant long-lasting sharpness. The fruit flavor is pleasant but is very overlaid by the alcohol. Probably again rather as a long drink than pure to enjoy... About juniper I speak no more 😉
