Merlot - 2020 - Montmija

Tasted the day after Christmas.

Tasting Notes April - Smelled like red wine. I was expecting it to be fruity on the front of the tongue, but it wasn't. At least not especially. It tasted... tight, to me.

Back of the tongue was standard wine alcohol levels, but not really unpleasant. I'm not sure what to make of this one, either, as I think I'd want it to be fruitier, but it wasn't unpleasant, as is.

Jeanette - Montmija, Merlot 2020: Aroma: fruity of red berries and iron. Taste: fruity of red grapes , full-bodied.and low acidity. I quite like the wine and think it may get even better as it gets older....
