Bottle front

Purchased by Jeanette while at a Dickens-themed Christmas market.

Tasted on December 23rd with April, Jeanette, Megan, Barb, and Gavin, after tasting days 17 through 23 of the Geile Weine advent calendar.

For this particlar wine:

Tasting notes:

April - Smells like cabernet. Spicy, no wine shivers, bitterness isn't super lingery. Seems like a reasonable Bordeaux. Not sure that I _like_ it, but it seems like a decent example of the type.

Jeanette - Smell is a little bit smoky, and like oak barrel, with dark red wine notes. Dry and voluminous. Has a full mouth-feel, but is also astringent. Im Nachgeschmack bleibt ein pelziges Mundgefühl mit ein bisschen bitterem Nachgeschmack.

Gavin - It's a dry, peppery wine, with maybe notes of cherry. It almost leaves your mouth feeling a little bit dry.

Megan - It does smell a bit like a barnyard, but I like it. It's spicy, which I like. Peppery and spicy is the kind of wine I like, which is good.

Barb - I did not like it. I gave my glass to Megan. Too strong, both in flavor and alcohol. Definitely smoky.
