Part of the Quarantini 2022 Advent Calendar. Both Jeanette and April purchased the calendar, would do a tasting, and then send tasting notes back and forth. There are also videos from Quarantini about each gin, and sometimes those were watched, though after doing the gin tasting so as to see how much we agreed or disagreed.
Tasting notes:
April - Minimal smell (double-checked with day 5 just to make sure sense of smell was there), maybe just general alcohol?
Taste was a little bit sparkly on the front of the tongue, but without much of note on flavor, and all I really got in the back of the mouth was paint thinner or some off-putting bitter flavor.
I guess this really could be an IPA mixed with a gin, but I can't think of anything positive to say about this one. It's the clear worst of the calendar, thus far.

Jeanette - The smell is unspectacular of alcohol with something.... Taste it is unexpectedly unexcited. If you leave the gin a bit on the tongue, it is almost soft and the sharpness from the alcohol dissipates very quickly. The aftertaste lasts a long time and is a bit malty... I would say that I rather dislike the gin.... Rank 10
But today once again no fruity gin but rather classic
Nur, dass es nicht fruchtig ist… Wacholder ist nicht zu schmecken… … der Nachgeschmack ist bitter- malzig und ziemlich lange anhaltend… einzig positives ist, dass der Alkohol nicht so lange scharf ist…
Mo hat ihn auch probiert und meint, es war der schlechteste von denen, die er probiert hat.
Upon retasting on 6 January 2024, Mo thought it wasn't that disgusting, but it burns. But it tastes a bit like what Mo thinks hand disinfectant at hospitals would taste like, but with a flavor that's hoppy or malty. But there are definitely better gins out there.
