Tried on July 1st, 2023, with Jeanette having recently purchased the gin.

Retasted on 6 Jan 2024. This tasting included Gin No 4 - Herba Flora, this gin, Lonewolf Gin - Der Schnapsstodl Day 24 - Brew Dog, Gin - Der Schnapsstodl Day 23 - Kyrö, No. 1 Gin - 24daysofgin.de Day 8 - Hausberg, and G'vine Floraison Gin - Der Schnapsstodl Day 3 - Maison Villevert.

Tasting Notes:

April - Smells strong, tastes strong, mostly just overwhelming, a bit of bitter aftertaste, kind of keeps burning for a while.

I would really like to like this one, since it's strawberry rhubarb, but... there's just not a lot pleasant in it, in my first tasting. It's better than tequila, but kind of reminded me of some experience with that. Flavors are definitely less offensive than that, though.

Upon retasting on 6 Jan 2024, it still mostly just tastes strong, and some amount of sweetness that I don't think I particularly liked.

Jeanette - Aroma: quite strong of pungent alcohol with hints of juniper and fruit. Taste: the first taste is surprisingly sweet and surprisingly round. The spiciness from the alcohol only comes in the aftertaste. The gin is without any real edges, the strawberries can be guessed at, the rhubarb not really, juniper is there but not very intense. It is a gin that is perhaps a bit boring without being really boring. It's okay that I bought the bottle...I probably won't buy a second one of these though.

Upon retasting on 6 Jan 2024, Jeanette said it was so sweet -- too sweet for her.

Mo - Mo tried this on 6 Jan 2024, after trying Kyrö Pink Gin - Kyrö Distillery Company, and definitely preferred this one over that one, which was the opposite of Jeanette's preferences. It tastes like elderberry, and is more sweet, but not too sweet like many of the Quarantini gins. This one hits the sweet spot between spicy, sweet, and bitter. This one is better to mix, because you could mix it with something bitter, like a tonic, and it wouldn't make it _too_ bitter, whereas the other one would require a sweeter tonic.
