Tasting notes:
2014 estate Chardonnay - "tasted like a white wine"
2013 pinot noir - brown, but good enough
2014 pinot noir - Megan liked, but possibly more drunk. April thought it was about as sour as the mid pinot at the last place
2014 pinot noir arena block - liked by all, but April wasn't convinced it was all that much better, if at all
From the wine list:
On land that for many years was a horse riding arena (and served as a parking lot for Cal-Fire during the Lexington Fire of 1985), our Arena Block has been planted to the 667 clone since 2000. This wine is brimming with vibrant cranberry and red cherry fruit, along with subtle touches of bay leaf, oregano, anise, and violet. Juicy acidity and supple tannins provide depth on the long finish.
