Jeanette was given this wine by her dad at some point this year (2022). Her father has a wine collection, and he likely selected this wine because it probably should be drunk at some point. He knew that Jeanette liked trying older wines, and gave her this wine. He had owned this wine for 15+ years, and who knows what happened to the wine during the time he owned it, with all the moving around it did.

Tasting notes: April thought it tasted old, without much fruitiness. But it kind of grew on her. Not as anything super fruity, but it did still taste like a Cab.

Jeanette said, "smokey, a little bit". She wasn't a huge fan, though it was still definitely consumable wine.

The wine had a brownish hue, so looked older. This was part of what made it an interesting tasting experience, even if the wine was not as interesting as might be hoped from the taste.
