Tasting notes:
2014 estate Chardonnay - "tasted like a white wine"
2013 pinot noir - brown, but good enough
2014 pinot noir - Megan liked, but possibly more drunk. April thought it was about as sour as the mid pinot at the last place
2014 pinot noir arena block - liked by all, but April wasn't convinced it was all that much better, if at all
From the wine list:
50% new and 50% neutral barrels were blenced together for this 100% barrel fermented chardonnay, and they make a perfect match. The neutral oak keeps the wine fresh, with Asian pear, fresh nectarine, and green apple aromas & flavors coming through. But the new oak transforms them, flambéing the pears and coating the apple with caramel and toffee.
