On the collage - feels like it went up Megan's nose. "Tastes like all the worst parts of red wines together"
The tasting menu said, "This blend of four red grapes is medium bodied with notes of dark cherry, raspberry and vanilla. It has soft tannins and balanced acidity. Pairs well with lasagna or bold cheeses. $15.95 per bottle.".
April, Megan, Henry, Amanda, Sarah, and Andi visited as part of the Ricca Family Reunion. The particular trip for these notes was 2018.
Notes from tasting:
chardonnay - "too sour, too white" Megan says. April kinda liked it, which is odd for a chardonnay.
collage - feels like it went up Megan's nose. "Tastes like all the worst parts of red wines together"
merlot - tastes like black licorice. because of the last lady, Megan is probably more a Merlot fan
sparkling riesling - (picture is the blank bottle) bubbly from yeast, and enjoyable. champagne like
two-handed red - fruity, sour, bit bitter at the end
azo red - fruity, kind of like the last one. Megan thought it was okay for a sweet one. Megan wound up liking it. for $15, she'd get it if there was time to drink it
See the [Google doc] for pictures and notes from the trip. Everything should be here already, but linking all the same.
