On the skeet's revelry - Megan liked it. inoffensive. drinkable, but a bit sour
The tasting menu said, "Blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chambourcin. An Italian style wine balanced with flavors of blackberries.".
April, Megan, Henry, Amanda, Sarah, and Andi visited as part of the Ricca Family Reunion. The particular trip for these notes was 2018.
Notes from tasting:
2016 chambourcin - sweeter than wanted, a bit sour, a bit watery - perhaps high in tannins
2015 seyval blanc - smooth and smells good. tart. like a sauvignon Blanc
2016 Cabernet Sauvignon - Megan says it was medium-water. tastes not sweet or sour. Kind of an earwax flavored wine. April thought it was okay, but very light for a cab sauvignon
2016 skeet's revelry - Megan liked it. inoffensive. drinkable, but a bit sour
2016 cetiri - basically the same as the skeet's revelry
2016 merlot - fruity, Megan liked it. a bit spicy. what Megan is calling earwax flavor.
