Trader Joe's Coastal

Purchased by Megan at a Trader Joe's on some unspecified date, but probably in 2019. Possibly late 2018. It definitely lived in the cooler (the wine storage) for a while.

Opened on Megan's birthday eve, 2019 (May 24th). Megan's review: "Too sweet". April thought the first sip was decent, but then got a bit overwhelmed by the alcohol (as normal) and eventually added lots of sparkling water to it. The bubbles were nice, but didn't appreciably make it better for her.

Alcohol - 13.9% by volume

To quote the bottle:

The beautiful central coast of California runs from Santa Barbara County up to the San Francisco Bay Trader Joe's Coastal wines are made from grapes grown in the central coast; vineyards in this region benefit from the cooling influence of the Pacific Ocean. Our Coastal Zinfandel has vibrant berry notes with hints of spice and black pepper.
