Bottle front

Probably purchased in 2023, but might have been 2022. Purchased from a Supermarket in Germany, though unsure whether it was an Edeka or Rewe. Lesser chance that it was some place else.

Tasted on 20 Jul 2024, with a bit of it used in a pasta sauce.

Tasting notes:

April - Tasted a bit older, and about like I expect a red wine to be. I was thinking it tasted like a standard Syrah, though am not sure if that was from subconsciously reading the label or just the flavor, but it seems to represent the varietal well.

When choosing it, Jeanette had asked for something for the pasta sauce, and I was looking for a fairly standard red. I declined to use the riojas, and the general vibe of the label and bottle made me think it'd fit.

I thing this was a solid wine, and would have no problem recommending it for someone who likes the varietals in the blend.
