Purchased while on a wine tasting trip to the mountain that Ridge is on, though the grapes are from Sonoma. See the Ridge Google doc for pictures and tasting notes in general.

On this particular wine, the notes say, "3rd - 2016 Geyserville - mostly Zin - well liked. Much drier than the sweet Zin at the last place. Megan says it smelled flowery, tasted good"

Alcohol - 14.5% by volume

73% Zinfandel, 17% Carignane, 7% Petite Sirah, 3% Alicante Bouschet

To quote the bottle:

2016 Geyserville, bottle December 2017

Following four years of drought, winter storms finally delivered more rainfall. The vines responded by setting a full crop. Harvest was completed in the month of September. Once assembled, the wine spent twelve months in barrel integrating te fruit and tannins. This exotic wine shows the great complexity of a field blend. Appealing now, it will reach full maturity within the next fifteen years.

Ingredients: Hand harvested, sustainably grown grapes; indigenous yeasts; naturally occurring malolactic bacteria; tartaric acid; oak from barrel aging; minimum effective SO2. EB (8/17)
