Purchased while on a wine tasting trip to the mountain that Vidovich is on. See the Vidovich Google doc for pictures and tasting notes in general.
On this particular wine, the notes say, "lake vineyards estate 2012 - good, purchased ($45, after $10 discount because of $20 tasting)"
Alcohol - 14.5% by volume
To quote the bottle:
Vidovich Lake Vineyard is adjacent to the Qaurry Hills Lake. The lake is the result of a limestone mining operation. The lake is over 100 feet deep and provides the water source for the vineyard. The soil is a mixture of natural limestone from the quarry and gravel. The grapes are distinctive in flavor, their character pulled from cool nights, hot days and long growing season. The ineral soil type, the elevation, and the "lake" effect, help produce this remarkable wine.
