Alcohol - 12.5%

See the [Google doc] for pictures from the trip. Our tasting notes are, "2013 Cabernet Sauvignon - liked, but young".

From the tasting list:

2013 Cabernet Sauvignon, S&P Vineyard, Alta Mesa

$50.00 per 750ml bottle

SILVER - 2017 Indy International Wine Competition

Elegantly-styled, aromatic and very approachable, with whiffs of newly opened roses, wild lavender, baking spices and leather. Plump with flavors of cherry pipe tobacco, red plum, black currant and sweet toasty vanilla from the oak. Easy-drinking with tannins that are quite tame and well-integrated.

201 cases; 23 months in 75% French Mercier & 25% American Radoux; 12.5% alc.

From the bottle:

You may recognize the Loma Prieta name from the famous earthquake of 1989, but th eSanta Cruz Mountains also play host to America's premier mountain vineyard area. Located at about 2,300 feet in these mountains, our winery offers spectacular views of Santa Cruz and Monterey. We also offer handcrafted wines prodcued in small lots and barrel aged in the finest oak. Enjoy!
