Purchased while wine tasting on May 27th, 2018 along with Joanne and Rico.

Says "Alta Mesa" on the front of the bottle.

Alcohol - 15.0%

See the [Google doc] for pictures from the trip. Our tasting notes are, "2015 Cabernet franc - strong alcohol flavor, but seems good".

From the tasting list:

$50.00 per 750ml bottle

Gold - 2018 Florida State Fair International Wine Comp.

Silver (91 points) - 2018 California State Fair Commercial WC

Bold and dominating, with aromas of warm toasty oak, sweet blackberries and ripe black cherries. Flavors of smooth raspberry mocha layered with chocolate walnut fudge follow, leading to a pleasant finish, framed by sandy tannins. Bright spiciness keeps it lively throughout.

145 cases; 22 months in 50% American Radous, 50% French Mercier; 15.0% alc.

From the bottle:

You may recognize the Loma Prieta name from the famous earthquake of 1989, but th eSanta Cruz Mountains also play host to America's premier mountain vineyard area. Located at about 2,300 feet in these mountains, our winery offers spectacular views of Santa Cruz and Monterey. We also offer handcrafted wines prodcued in small lots and barrel aged in the finest oak. Enjoy!
