On the pinot noir - sour and too sweet, Megan said
The tasting menu said, "Dark, rich and dense with flavors of strawberry, fresh raspberries, and bing cherry. $27.99 per bottle".
April, Megan, Henry, Amanda, Sarah, Jaema (maybe Alicia), and JoAnne visited as part of the Ricca Family Reunion. The particular trip for these notes was 2018.
Notes from tasting:
Gabby led our tasting, and was very helpful with April getting photos
a&g gin - Megan liked it, and drank all of it without making a face or needing a chaser. She'd bring some home if weight and space weren't an issue
Sauvignon Blanc - bright, acidic (but not in the terrible sour way). "tart and refreshing", Megan says. "a white one I'd probably drink
cab franc - April's favorite cab franc, this trip. balanced. Megan really liked it.
pinot noir - sour and too sweet, Megan said
chambourcin - April tasted with Henry - no smell at all, but pretty good tasting, regardless
albariño - april tasted with Henry - tart, pretty good on the front of the tongue, but lingers on the back of the tongue for a while, and isn't all that pleasant, there
chancellor - Megan liked it. Seemed high in tannins, or at least had a mouth feel she liked it, even though it was a bit sour. April was not quite as sold on it.
brut - good. solid champagne-style wine
lavender citrus cider - Megan's favorite. smells like lavender, pleasant cider
See the [Google doc] for pictures and notes from the trip. Everything should be here already, but linking all the same.
