Purchased while in Denmark at a Kvickly in Aalborg, at a Kvickly, along with Côtes-du-Rhône red - 2024 - La Châsse and Côtes-du-Rhône red - 2023 - La Châsse.

Drunk while it was cold, directly out of the fridge, while at the AirBnB in Aalborg.

Tasting notes:

April - Minimal smell. I can believe that there's rhubarb in it, but it's also kind of sickly sweet, and reminds me of... something. Like fruit juice concentrate, or maybe V8 that's fruitier. The alcohol is definitely still pleasant, but mostly appears through a longer aftertaste.

I tend to want to like anything with rhubarb in it, and I did drink a third of the can without too much of a challenge, but I'm still pretty meh about it.

It's not bad, but I wouldn't bother getting it again.

Geruch: interessant, ein bisschen wie Rhabarber Vanille Jogurt mit Plastik. Geschmack: süß und überraschend ohne Kohlensäure. Der Rhabarbergeschmack ist eindeutig vorhanden, die 6,5% vol. schmeckt man nicht wirklich. Der Geschmack folgt dem Geruch… ungewöhnlich aber nicht wirklich schlecht. Was man von einem Fertigcoctail erwarten kann wird erfüllt.

English:

Smell: interesting, a bit like rhubarb-vanilla yogurt with a hint of plastic. Taste: sweet and, surprisingly, not carbonated. The rhubarb flavor is definitely there, but you can’t really taste the 6.5% ABV. The taste matches the smell… unusual but not really bad. It delivers what you’d expect from a ready-to-drink cocktail.
