Jeanette purchased this half bottle at the Biomarkt in March 2024. She purchased it largely because of having tried Armonia Rouge - 2020 - Domaine Bassac previously, so we get a chance to try a different vintage of the same wine.
Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet, Grenache
Tasting Notes April - Smells deep red. Maybe malbec-like. Fairly smooth with the taste, and generally pleasant. A little bit of astringency when drinking more of it, but that part seems okay. I like it. I didn't wind up shivering from it, for whatever that means. Not super fruity, like the previous vintage.
Jeanette - Geruch: säuerlich, beerig nach dunklen Trauben. Geschmack: überraschend süß im ersten Augenblick, gefolgt von feiner Säure. Leicht adstringierend. Fruchtig, vollmundig aber nicht schwer. Ein sehr angenehmer Rotwein.
